As a family settled in Sydney, Australia since 1999, far away from our homeland India, we always missed our mother's and grandmother's delicious traditional authentic sweets and savouries. They were the things we grew up eating and we would want to give the same to our children and grandchildren and future generations.
Getting homemade sweets, savouries and pickles from India come at a risk of spoilage due to delay in shipments after having spent a fortune on shipping services.
We have always endeavoured to come up with a solution to provide our back home traditonal snacks with authentic home-made taste in Australia. Thats how "Amma Pindi Vantalu " came into existence. ( "Amma" means mother , in Telugu , "Pindi Vantalu" is a term from Telugu, a language spoken in the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It translates to "flour-based dishes" . Collectively it stands for " Mother's flour-based dishes "

Established in Sydney Australia on April 25th, 2018, we are a popular South Indian Pure Veg Sweets Startup catering to customers in Australia and also Internationally. As of 2025 we have catered close to 6500+ customers in Australia. Our menu consists of authentic homemade sweets, savouries and pickles, recipes originating from our homeland India . Our journey has been nothing short of a "from the garage" startup to a popular cloud kitchen business.Our products are popular among both kids and adults in every state in Australia and abroad. We utilise the best ingredients available in Australia for manufacturing our products.

During our journey we have had wonderful opportunities such as providing Prasadam/Naivedhya Sweets to deities in Sri Venkateshwara Temple, Helensburgh, Sydney , for Lord Balaji Kalyanam in Shirdi Sai Sansthan Brisbane and humble sponsor for Auction Laddu for Telugu Sandhadi Vinayaka Chavithi Festival in Sydney every year. We have a charity wing to Amma Pindi Vantalu that donates a part of the sale proceedings towards underprivileged girls in India, fostering them to pursue their dreams through good education from high school to graduation.

We have also been part of multiple Telugu Cultural Events such as Bathukamma events Australia wide.We have also worked with other vendors such as Dosa Hut Sydney and Giri Australia, Radhe Supermarket Chain Stores in running successful campaigns during festivals.

Amma Pindi Vantalu finished as one of the finalist's for the Blacktown Local Business Awards in the Cake/Bakery Category for 2025.
Apparently, 300 businesses from 30000 businesses in Blacktown made it to the final , which puts us with all the other nominees in the top 1%.
